Open Access deal between Elsevier and Dutch universities extended until december 2019

At the end of 2018, the VSNU and Elsevier agreed to continue discussions about a new contract. From July 1, 2019, the current contract will be further extended by six months to give the negotiations more time. There is now a broader conversation between Elsevier and NWO, VSNU and NFU about how to work together toward future Dutch open science infrastructure services.
