The online open science service will be launched. During their regular meetings, academics are informed about the support the library can provide. To this end, a presentation has been made. These activities start in October and will be continued throughout the year.

Utrecht University Library organises workshops on Open Access

This year, during the Open Access Week 2016, the University offers three workshops on the theme of Open Access publishing. Questions that will be discussed during the workshops are: Where can I publish best and why? What should I be looking for if I want to publish in an open access journal? And how do I finance my article or book publication charge? The workshops are open to the University Utrecht academic community and specifically designed for researchers who want to publish their research in open access, but like to have more information about the how and why.
