Main outcomes of the second consultation meeting on Plan S

On 31 January 2019, NWO and ZonMw organized a consultation meeting on Plan S. Plan S, signed by an international coalition (cOAlition S) of research funding bodies, including NWO, is meant to accelerate the transition to open access. The goal of the meeting was to inform stakeholders about Plan S and to collect feedback.

Plan S was launched in September 2018, and on 26 November cOAlition S presented the guidelines for the implementation of Plan S. The first meeting on Plan S was organized by the KNAW on 1 November 2018. From 27 November 2018 to 1 February 2019 it was possible to respond to the implementation guidelines.
